It boasts a wealth of experience across multiple industries and geographies, but faces resource challenges in engaging an expert team to distil that knowledge into thought leadership content for media publications.
Content Nation offered strategic support with expert copywriting skills to work with BCG consultant ‘Partners’ to create unique, thought-provoking content for publication in media across the Southeast Asian region. We created unique tone of voice and content that is differentiated and engaging for a broad industry audience.
Content Nation has now established a multi-year partnership that has expanded across markets in Southeast Asia, with close alignment and collaboration with BCG Partners to deliver content across a diverse range of industries and markets. Opinion pieces and bylines have been published across multiple media outlets, including The Edge, The Edge Singapore, Asian Banker, Jakarta Post, Nikkei Asia, The Korea Times, and more. The Singapore Institute of Management (SIM) sought to launch seven new online-only programs to a primarily Singaporean and secondary Southeast Asian audience. The challenge was to create awareness and educate potential students on the benefits of online learning, emphasising the program’s flexibility, multiple intakes, and global recognition.
Content Nation devised a comprehensive digital launch strategy that leveraged Facebook and PPC ads to reach the target audience. The team produced all initial marketing collaterals, including ad creatives and copy, program brochures, starter packs, starter guides, blog articles, webinars, and social media presence. They also implemented an email marketing strategy for sign-ups and lead nurturing.
The launch campaign resulted in a significant increase in social media engagement, with the SIM Facebook page gaining 1,909 new likes, and LinkedIn followers increasing by 53. The total page views increased to 167 compared to September before the launch. After a successful launch, Content Nation moved to a monthly retainer to execute a social media strategy that included blog posts, social media content, ads, and a monthly newsletter. The retainer strategy resulted in continued engagement and visibility for the SIM brand, furthering their reputation as a leading provider of online learning programs in Singapore and Southeast Asia.

McDonald’s, a global fast food chain, faced the dilemma of balancing their empire’s operations with the need to create effective marketing materials that would keep customers returning.
McDonald’s partnered with Content Nation to address this challenge. Content Nation specialised in digital products, including online campaigns, social media, and website adaptations. They provided project management support, coordinating with various departments within McDonald’s to plan and organise timelines for online campaigns and social media calendars. In addition, they assisted with ad hoc design work as required by the brand.

United Plantations, an established company with a history dating back to 1906, approached us with a pressing need for a revitalised website that would effectively represent their rich heritage, core values, and unique corporate culture.
We conducted thorough on-site visits to gain firsthand insights into their operations, as well as to understand the subtle nuances that set them apart. We captured captivating photographs of their operations, which we then integrated into the website. This approach ensured authenticity and provided visitors with an accurate representation of United Plantations’ activities. We created a user-friendly content management system (CMS) specifically tailored to United Plantations’ needs. Additionally, the CMS allowed for direct communication with shareholders, enabling efficient updates and information sharing through the website’s backend.

The campaign is ongoing, but initial feedback and engagement from Samsung’s target audience have been positive. The content marketing strategy has helped Samsung to establish thought leadership, increase brand awareness, and build credibility among its target audience. The explainer videos, blog posts, and infographics have received high engagement rates, while the EDM and newsletter campaign have helped to create awareness among SME businesses. VIOBA was looking to utilise flagship multimedia content as part of a drive to improve engagement and fundraising at a key association event.
We developed a script, commissioned and produced a set of highly emotive and targeted videos that worked to promote the cause of VIOBA. In doing so, we uniquely focused on the target demographic, creating a sense of nostalgia and pride that aimed to generate renewed commitment to the fundraising and support in aid of the Victoria Institution.
As a result, significant interest was generated in VIOBA’s flagship fundraising event, showing improved participation and attendance; and exceeding the pre-established fundraising target as well as engendering on-going positive sentiment in support of the school.
