Energy Asia 2025 marked the second edition of this seminal energy conference, building on the success of the inaugural edition in 2023. Content Nation’s conference marketing strategy helped build on the first conference to deliver even greater global impact.
If 2023 was about starting the conversation, 2025 was about leading it. Themed ‘Delivering Asia’s Energy Transition,’ the primary mission for the 2025 conference was to shift the narrative from ambition to action. The goal was to position the region not just as a participant in the net-zero journey, but as the driver of it.

Hosted by PETRONAS in partnership with CERAWeek by S&P Global, the event needed to highlight the unique challenges and opportunities of the Asian energy ecosystem. We were tasked with amplifying this message to a global audience, ensuring that the critical discussions on decarbonisation, economic development and social equity were heard loud and clear.
The campaign targeted a complex mix of policymakers, investors and technologists across the energy spectrum, with over 4,000 attendees from 60 countries and 38 industries.
Strategic Approach

We knew that a standard event marketing approach wouldn’t cut it. We executed a multi-phase strategy that built momentum from February, delivered a dominant peak in June, and maintained a valuable ‘long tail’ of engagement well into July.

The results for 2025 set a new standard for Energy Asia. By refining our digital strategy, we achieved robust growth across every single metric compared to the inaugural 2023 event.

- Real-World Impact: Energy Asia 2025 included the signing of 14 Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) and the advancement of several high-impact initiatives across technologies, geographies and business models.
Energy Asia 2025 proved that Asia is ready to lead. As Tan Sri Tengku Muhammad Taufik stated in his introductory speech, “There is no net zero without Asia”.
